Siggi Eggertsson
Via a poster designer who was ripping off his work (should one link a ‘via’ to a plagiarist?) I was able to put a name to some amazing work that I’ve seen a lot of lately. Eggertsson’s most notable work is probably the design he did for Gnarls Barkley’s “The Odd Couple” but all of his work is a beautiful cross-pollination of contemporary hard-edged vector style and eboy-like 8-bit influence. His pattern work is amazing. I can’t link to anything specific but really everything on his site is worth linking to so just start clicking.
